The Coos County District Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for a Deputy District Attorney.
Salary range for DDA I position is $80,532 - $118,464 per year DOE. County pays 98% of health care benefits for employee and family and provides 6% towards Public Employee Retirement System.
Up to $5,000 in Relocation Costs.
Costs include placing a deposit on a rental, first and last month's rent, etc., and reimbursement for bar admission fees if from out of the State of Oregon.

Requires a Doctor of Jurisprudence or equivalent law degree, and admission to the Oregon State Bar. Full training will be provided.
For new hires with no trial experience, you will start handling misdemeanor cases. But as soon as you show the ability, then advancement and opportunity will come quickly. Prosecutors in our office typically start handing felonies within a year of joining the office. You will be offered the opportunity to be “called out” in the middle of night to go with seasoned and experienced prosecutors to major crime scenes and be in a position to help advise the police on any legal issues they will face in major investigations. You will have the opportunity to “second chair” major crimes as your knowledge grows.
