About the Library 

The Law Library provides electronic access to statutes, rules, cases, and other legal information.

A computer, which has access to WestLaw Precision, is available to assist patrons with legal research.

*Books are for reference use only; they cannot be checked-out.

Mission 

Our goal is to enhance equal access to justice by making sure legal information, resources and tools are available and accessible to everyone in Coos County.

Library Hours 

The Law Library is open to the public by appointment only during business hours.

Staff Assistance 

Staff may be available to help patrons locate materials or links that may assist in an individual search.  However, staff cannot provide legal advice.  Legal advice includes, but is not limited to, 

  • Advising patrons regarding their legal rights 
  • Interpreting cases, statutes, or regulations
  • Performing legal research
  • Preparing forms
