Marriage License
After you apply online, you will both come to our office to sign and pay for the license.
The date that you pay for the license is the date that the waiting period starts.

Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:00 - 11:30 and 1:00 - 3:30
*NO EXCEPTIONS*
Fee: $60 - CASH ONLY
Waiting Period: There is a full 3 day waiting period from the date the license is purchased before it can be used. Example: If you pay for the license on Monday it will be valid to use on Friday. SEE CHART BELOW:

Waivers must be approved by the clerk before you come in to pay for the license.
Waivers are not guaranteed, and are granted only under certain circumstances.

There is an additional $25.00 cash fee for a waiver.
The marriage license is valid for 60 days from the effective date.
Age Requirement: The legal age for marriage in the State of Oregon is 18
Marriage licenses can be purchased from any County in Oregon and be used in any County in Oregon.
